Tatiana and I went to the Children's Aquarium Saturday. It is in Fair Park and they are setting up for the State Fair. Because of that, they have fences up all over the place and at one point I could see the Aquarium but there was a fence in the way. So, we kept walking looking for an opening. And walking and walking.
Security in a golf cart comes up and we are "trespassing". He figures out I am tired and lost and takes us in his golf cart through the locked gate by the aquarium.
What does Tatiana remember best about that day?
She finally got to ride "in the front seat"
Scotland asked her later about the weekend. She said that we went to the Aquarium and we "walked walked walked walked walked walked". He asked about getting a ride. She got chipper and said, "I got to ride in the front seat".
The aquarium itself was nice. It is just perfect for her age. There was a tank of stingrays and they were used to people feeding them so they begged at the edge. I wanted to leave something special for next time so we didn't buy any food.
Sunday was the first day of Sunday School. She was not well-behaved at all, it was embarrassing. I was complaining to Scotland and he pointed out that she often has a problem the first day of anything. The first ballet class, the first swim class. So, hopefully, she will be back to her normal self next time. At Sunday School because it was the first class, all the kids went into the church for a blessing. Tatiana was the last kid in. She looked adorable in the red silk dress that she picked out. After church we were walking into the fellowship hall and I overheard some older people talking about how cute the kids were and that in particular she had noticed, and then she pointed to Tatiana.
