Yesterday evening she did something for the first time.  She crawled out of the room I was in, and it wasn't to Scotland.  It was to go exploring.

This morning we went to the Mom group at the church.  Boy, was that hard to get there at 9:30am.  They are so nice.  We won't see them until the fall.

This afternoon I brought the play table into the dining room.  My hope was that she would play while I sewed.  She immediately went to the Herbert plant and tried to eat the pistachio nut shells.  I thought to myself, "This is a good opportunity to use 'No'."  So, I told her No, while I pulled her hand away.  She laughed at me!  I thought maybe it was because I wasn't saying it seriously enough.  Nope.  She just kept going back to it.  It was aggravating but she was laughing and delighted.  Later she was playing with Scotland in the mancave.  We figured out why she laughed.  He would say, "Oh, no!  You're knocking down the tower!"  So, he's not going to use the word "No" except to say don't do that.
