Mensa Gifted Youth games meeting in Frisco

Sunday afternoon there was a Mensa Gifted Youth meeting in Frisco.   It was in a coffee shop called Nerdvana.  They had games you could borrow and games you could buy.  They had a really good selection.  This is Tatiana playing Monopoly with some kids.  It is a bad photo, but it is what I have.  We had lots of fun.   Ty was there too.   Adults were playing at the table I was in.  We played Splendor.   Ty won.  Then we played the Monopoly card game.   Tatiana and I played a game.  Then we moved to the restaurant next door.   They had video game controllers at the table.   You got a controller for free if you bought food.  At the table was the three of us, Godfather Ty, an 8-year-old boy named Tristan and his daddy.   We played several games of Monopoly with them.   Ty was mentally tired, so he vegetated on his phone messaging someone.  The dad, Rob, was really happy when I told him that the game was available on Amazon for $5.50.   He was also impressed when I told him that we'd only had the game for 2-3 months.  They are really beat up.  He said the kids want to play Monopoly.   It takes hours and hours, and then they don't play again for several weeks.  we'll probably see them at Mensa Gifted Kids functions in the future.
