First Orthodontist treatment
Tatiana had her first Orthodontist treatment yesterday. We had been before, but that was just for a consult. They had this neat tool that takes a bunch of pictures of the teeth/mouth to make a model of her teeth. That replaces those trays with the ookie gunk in them. She kept wanting to look at the screen. The woman doing it said that kids always want to look. I don't know why they didn't put the screen where both of them could have seen it. Then they installed Spacers between two pairs of molars on the upper left and right side. They were basically o-rings shoved in there. Her teeth hurt, especially on the right side. I guess it was more crowded in there. We go back in a few weeks and they will install the upper expander. I am not looking forward to that. It can't be removed and will stay in for a month. For the first couple of weeks, we will have to go in every day and crank this thing that will move her teeth a little bit more apart. So, her teeth will be sore for all of those two weeks.
Tatiana didn't want to tell us that she wasn't eating because her teeth hurt. Then she finally did, and Scotland made her some noodle soup. She hadn't wanted to play games, she wanted to be alone. Yesterday was the third day with the boys over, and I think that is why she needed to be alone.
Cute story. The boys helped Tatiana do the dishes. Scotland said they were adorable. Then the boys told James that they wanted a dishwasher. He told them that he already had four dishwashers. They disagreed. He pointed to each of them and then said, "And Elisa are my dishwashers."
