Cute story regarding Frank

There is a boy, Frank, her age that is in 4H and the homeschool co-op.   Her mom also has older kids (good kids) so she is more experienced on things like 4H.   I've always thought that Frank was the cutest thing.   Very clean-cut kid with short blonde hair.   The kind of kid that would help an old lady across the street.

As we leaving the Sewing Project meeting, Frank was sitting with his mother and when he saw Tatiana he perked up and said, "Hi Tatiana".   I realized that was why I think he's the cutest thing, because he always does that.  Later I came back through without Tatiana and I told his mom what I'd noticed and that I always thought that he was such a good kid.   She told me that he thinks Tatiana is great and that he loves having science class with her.  I told Scotland this.   He said, "Yeah, and she doesn't notice him."  I asked why.  He said, "Brody is in the class".

Maybe we will invite him over to play with her Robot.

Tatiana loves her doll head

Tatiana really loves the doll head.   I almost didn't get it because she had lots of presents, but Scotland convinced me to get it.   I am glad.
Yesterday she was playing with her doll head.   She saw me with the camera so she is trying to frown.   But, she is so happy, this is as close as she can get.
The other day she was playing with it at bedtime.  I told to "put the head away".   Tatiana told me that "she" was offended, as in the doll head was offended.   I asked what I should call it.  She said that her name is Cinderella.
Tatiana has been braiding her hair and my hair a lot too.  Mine is braided right now too.

First Orthodontist treatment

Tatiana had her first Orthodontist treatment yesterday.   We had been before, but that was just for a consult.  They had this neat tool that takes a bunch of pictures of the teeth/mouth to make a model of her teeth.    That replaces those trays with the ookie gunk in them.   She kept wanting to look at the screen.   The woman doing it said that kids always want to look.   I don't know why they didn't put the screen where both of them could have seen it.  Then they installed Spacers between two pairs of molars on the upper left and right side.  They were basically o-rings shoved in there.  Her teeth hurt, especially on the right side.  I guess it was more crowded in there.  We go back in a few weeks and they will install the upper expander.   I am not looking forward to that.  It can't be removed and will stay in for a month.  For the first couple of weeks, we will have to go in every day and crank this thing that will move her teeth a little bit more apart.   So, her teeth will be sore for all of those two weeks.

Tatiana didn't want to tell us that she wasn't eating because her teeth hurt.  Then she finally did, and Scotland made her some noodle soup.   She hadn't wanted to play games, she wanted to be alone.  Yesterday was the third day with the boys over, and I think that is why she needed to be alone.

Cute story.  The boys helped Tatiana do the dishes.   Scotland said they were adorable.  Then the boys told James that they wanted a dishwasher.   He told them that he already had four dishwashers.   They disagreed.  He pointed to each of them and then said, "And Elisa are my dishwashers."

Chicken bacteria - Sunday

Yesterday (Sunday) I made chicken nuggets.   So, raw chicken.  And, I was new at it so there might have been raw chicken juice where it shouldn't have been.   Every morning Tatiana is supposed to unload the dishwasher, load it, then start it.  She had done that Sunday morning.   I wanted to load the dirty dishes because of the raw chicken.  So, shortly before bedtime, I unloaded the dishwasher and loaded it again.   I told Tatiana why I did that.   She ran to get a book and asked which bacteria I was talking about.  She had opened the book to a two-page spread with illustrations of bacteria.   She wanted to see which one it was.   So, we studied the drawings.   Then she was done.

Tatiana finally getting to play with her Lego Robot

Tatiana totally loved her Lego Robot.   I spent the morning getting the Bluetooth connection from the desktop to the robot working.   It is super neat what she makes it do.    Scotland says he has to sit on his hand because he wants to play with it too and take it over.  The instructions are in the Lego app.
