Today is May 24. I will update what Tatiana's life is like lately.
Yesterday I picked her up at the Adventure Kids. She had woke up early, and had taken a nap before she went to Adventure Kids. Scotland took her to the one near my work, where we hadn't been before. So, he checked it out. While he was walking around, Tatiana went off to play. At one point, Tatiana walked into the room Scotland was checking out and she pointed to him and said "Daddy" then wandered off to play some more. That really gives us confidence that she likes it there. I picked her and she was still playing. In the car I said, "Mommy loves Tatiana" She said, "No". I said, "I do!" She is just saying No to everything now. Sometimes she repeats "No, No, No, No" each time saying it different, like she is trying to figure out how many different ways there are to say it. We had a nice evening. I took her to the library and then we played in the sandbox. When we came inside she wanted to play the game I call "closet". Tatiana created it. Mommy and Tatiana go into Tatiana's closet and Tatiana opens and closes the door. Yogi stands outside wagging her tail wondering what we are doing. Closet can last for a long time. She fell asleep easily and early.
The day before Scotland took her to the playground. She wanted on the swing, and only the swing. Scotland played the "ABC game" with her. Scotland made it up. You say "A" as you give her a push, and on the way back she says "A", you say "B" ... A little boy tried to join in and she gave him a withering look as if to say "This is MY daddy". Then the electricity went out at 5:30pm. So, we went out to eat at Panda Express. Then we went home and stayed in the backyard. It was light enough. Around 9pm the bugs started to get bad so we went inside. By the time I washed the sand off her using the master bathroom sink, and changed her diaper, the electricity had come on. She was tired, so we went straight into PJ time. She still doesn't like having her teeth brushed. When Scotland had her in the mancave she started making a long OOOOOOO sound. He couldn't figure it out. Then he realized that somehow the kitchen CD player turned itself on, and it was playing the Old McDonald song. Scotland couldn't really hear it, but Tatiana could. So, I guess her hearing is fine. She loves the Old McDonald song. She does the O in EIEIO and the animal sounds.
The day before that, Tatiana started doing something new while we were in the living room. She took my finger and then she led me around and around the fireplace. Yogi didn't know what to think but eventually after a few "good dogs" while she was laying in the marble hallway, she stayed there. We went around and around and around.
