Six Flags Homeschool Day

Thursday was the Six Flags Homeschool Day.  This is our second and we really enjoyed it.   There aren't many people there.  Also, the employees are nicer.  I figured out why that is, many supervisors are working.   About 3 pm, we ran in Jaedyn and her Dad.   When the rest of that family joined us, Jaedyn said that they were going to the Log Ride.  Tatiana suddenly decided that she wanted to go on the Log Ride too.  That was fine with us.   Then they decided to go on the 'boat ride.'

Background on the boat ride.   We gone on it once when she was much younger.   We rode on the highest seats, and I think it hurt her neck a little.   Before we ran into Jaedyn's family, Tatiana had wanted to try the 'boat ride'.  We were happy about that.   At the front of the very short line, she said that she didn't want to anymore.  We said tough.   She liked it.   We rode in the middle and I made sure to have a relaxed pose, and to comment on how relaxing it was.   The breeze was nice.  Scotland and I were happy that another ride was added.

When the two families were on the boat ride, the kids had fun.   Then Jaedyn's family said that they wanted to go on the Bobsled ride that was right there.  Tatiana didn't want to go on it.  It was near time to leave, so I said, "Well, we will leave then."   She said "Why?"   I said because we only have time to ride the Bobsled and of you don't want to go then we might as well leave.   She watched them walk to the Bobsled and you should have seen her face.  It was contorted in conflict.  Eventually, she said, "I want to go on the Bobsled".    So we went.   Scotland knew that one bobsled would fit 3 adults and three kids, so he hung back.  She wasn't sure what she thought of it at first, then she decided that she liked it.   She wanted to go on it with her Daddy too.   So, Jaedyn's family left, and the three of us rode it again.   Scotland was very happy because he'd been wanting to ride it.
